Here you are guided through various equipment and explained the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Course Description:- Deck Module 2 consists of seven virtual tours. This course will focus on the upper deck area; here, you will be guided on how to carry out checks of various items, including checking the general housekeeping, the deck equipment and machinery, the LSA and FFA in general and the emergency preparedness, how to test various associated deck equipment and ensure all the equipment is ready for immediate use. This course will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Learning Objectives:- At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to · Demonstrate the various general checks that are carried out whilst inspecting the mooring area on the main deck and will be able to ensure that the mooring areas and the machinery therein are compliant in all respects and ready for inspection. · Demonstrate the various general checks that are carried out whilst inspecting the hose handling crane and will be able to ensure that the hose handling crane is compliant in all respects and ready for inspection. · Demonstrate the various general checks that are carried out while inspecting various equipment and machinery on the main deck, and will be able to ensure that these areas are compliant in all respects and ready for inspection. · Demonstrate the various general checks that are carried out whilst inspecting the pilot ladder, and will be able to rig it correctly and ensure it is compliant in all respects. · Demonstrate the various general checks that are carried out whilst inspecting the accommodation ladder (gangway), and will be able to rig it correctly and ensure it is compliant in all respects.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, you will be able to carry out a thorough self-inspection of the Midship Area of an Oil Tanker; keep it compliant and ready for any third-party inspection, and with the technique shown, you will be able to progressively become more efficient.

This course focuses on the final checks on arrival for the bridge, deck, CCR accommodation, forecastle, and pumproom to ensure the vessel is compliant in all respects and ready for any inspection. At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to: · Demonstrate the various general checks and tests that are carried out in the Accommodation, CCR and aft deck on arrival and will be able to ensure that the Accommodation, CCR, and aft decks are compliant in all respects and ready for inspection. · Demonstrate the various general checks and tests that are carried out on the bridge on arrival and will be able to ensure that the bridge is compliant in all respects and ready for inspection. · Demonstrate the various general checks and tests that are carried out on the main deck and forecastle area on arrival and will be able to ensure that the main deck and forecastle are compliant in all respects and ready for inspection. · Demonstrate the various general checks and tests that are carried out in the pump room on arrival and will be able to ensure that the pump room is compliant in all respects and ready for inspection.
