This course is structured into two main parts: ISM Code Part A: Implementation and ISM Code Part B: Certification & Verification. Each section is meticulously crafted to guide you through the ISM Code's objectives, its role in enhancing maritime safety, and the detailed requirements for compliance and certification. • Part A: Implementation delves into the specific requirements of the ISM Code, covering everything from establishing a safety and environmental protection policy to the responsibilities of company and ship personnel, emergency preparedness, and the maintenance of ships and equipment. • Part B: Certification & Verification focuses on the certification process, including the types of certificates issued, periodic verification, and the processes for interim certification and verification. However, it is important to stress that you always orient yourself towards your ship's specifications and follow your shipping company-approved procedures. You will be presented with an assessment at the end of this course.
