In this course, we will look at the importance of Equality & Diversity in an organisation. We will understand what is meant by 'equality' and 'diversity' and how we can implement this in our workplace.
We will cover the difference between sex and gender, define gender identity and sexual orientation, terminology, pronouns, and avoiding misgendering, the difference between gender identity and gender expression, dealing with discrimination, dealing with diversity complaints as a volunteer/ employee/ manager, verbal & non – verbal Communication Skills and being proactive and much more.
